FREE to adults seeking to improve their communication, reading and math skills.
Other Information
The Arizona Department of Education sponsors programs that offer free classes to adults seeking to improve their communication, reading and math skills. The programs are available to individuals 16 years of age or older who are not currently enrolled in any school. Classes include Adult Basic Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Citizenship and preparation for the General Educational Development (GED) test. The department also provides GED test sites in more than 120 locations and supports more than 1,000 instructional classes in various locations throughout the State.
